::the simpler things:: is getting a break.

Hi friends! I must apologize for the lack of posts and my lack of reading and commenting your blogs as well. Hubby and I have opted to relocate due to his being offered an INCREDIBLE opportunity to coach high school football at one of the top teams in the nation. Unfortunately, because school starts soon, he is relocating before me, which leaves me very busy putting our house on the market and looking for a job. So...on it's 1 year birthday/anniversary, this blog is getting a long break. I hope all of you are well and please know that when I get a chance to read, I'll tune in.

Fourths are for...

...freedom and family. : )

After a short bout with acute bronchitis, I'm back long enough to wish you all a Happy Fourth! Being that it is my favorite holiday, I'm headed to Atlanta for the weekend to visit my parents and my little brother's fam (who live just 10 minutes away from Mom and Pops), which means...

I get to spend the day with my adorable nephews tomorrow!

It's hard to believe nephew no. 2 is already six months old! What a difference between now...


...and then. I am so blessed and thankful that God watched over him.

I hope all of you have a wonderful holiday weekend with family and friends as well!

Hi friends! It took me awhile to find my way, but I'm back. It seemed like one family member after another got sick and then I had several big projects going on at work. I just couldn't juggle it all and find time to blog, hence the break. But I'm back in full force now...until next week when Hubby and I leave for our cruise. hahahahaha. But then I'll be back for realsies!

I hope this finds all of you happy and healthy and enjoying these lovely* summer days.

Sorry, friends, for the quick disappearing act. My blogging siesta can be blamed on the sniffles. Hubby got sick last weekend, then Mom got sick (so I brought her from Atlanta to stay with us while Dad is out on business travel--I couldn't stand the thought of her being alone and not feeling well), and then I got sick! I'm recovering even as I type this, so bear with me and my sporadic posts and know that I am aching to blog away soon! Hope you are all well...
